Kim Towner

Kim Towner is a seasoned entertainment executive known for developing creative talent, content and retail initiatives across consumer product categories and varied distribution tiers. As the Schulz family's executive in charge of The Peanuts Movie, she led the brand relaunch strategy and execution worldwide to $2B+ in global retail, $250M at the box office and a Golden Globe nomination for Best Animated Film. Her Peanuts by Schulz animated series produced and distributed with France Télévisions landed an International Emmy Award nomination for Best Animated Series. Kim was a member of the start-up team for the launch of MSNBC where she served as a Line Producer and Senior Broadcast Producer for over 1500 hours of programming, managing all aspects of the 60+ production team members, on-air talent and guests from planning through broadcast.
A member of The Dalton School Council, Kim serves as co-chair of the Internship Task Force charged with rethinking skill development beyond the classroom. She previously worked on the Council’s Equity and Belonging Task Force.
Kim holds a B.A. from The University of Kansas. She lives in New York City with her wife, two sons and two rescue dogs named K.C. and Truman.
